It is a styrene-butadiene-based elastomer, a raw material that can be applied in the rubber vulcanisation process, and can be formulated in any opaque and translucent colour, as well as in a range of hardnesses usually ranging from 55 to 90 Shore A.

Depending on the type of application, this raw material has good mechanical properties in terms of resistance to abrasion, flexion, traction, stretching and tearing, and references with anti-static properties, anti-UV, flame resistance and special characteristics for safety footwear are also available.
